I’d been battling the Family Courts and Children’s Services for 12 years.

Over that time, Ive acted as a Litigant in Person, paid for expensive solicitors and had Legal Aid.

There have been so many proceedings, Child Protection Hearings, school meetings and assessments that I’ve lost count.

All had taken over my life, traumatised myself and my children and made a bad situation even worse.

As a survivor of domestic abuse and a single Mum, I was on my knees. Desperate for help. The system was taking me under. And I was scared for my children.

I searched for help and found Emma.

After talking to her for 15 minutes, I asked her to take on my case. I didn’t care how much I had to pay. I’d find it somehow.

When she told me the cost for a full month of support… I was shocked.

I would have paid far more for the amount of support she offered me.

It made the biggest difference to my mental health, my loneliness, clarity and hope.

I learned so much. I felt validated and had fire in my belly to carry on the fight.
